Hong Kong’s celebrated songstress Kay Tse will kick off her “TIDAL” World Tour 2025 live in Malaysia. Organized by Jazzy Group and Pulse Recreation & Cultural Management, the concert will be held on 13 December 2025 at Idea Live Arena, Petaling Jaya. This marks Kay’s first solo concert in Malaysia and an important milestone celebrating her 20th anniversary in the music industry.
The “TIDAL” Concept
“TIDAL” takes inspiration from how tides change, symbolizing the rhythm of life and music. The design of the stage, music, and storytelling will include images of waves and lighthouses. For Kay, the lighthouse is a reliable light that guides travelers, just like her music has offered support and care to fans during various times in their lives.
Interestingly, the word “Tidal” sounds like the Cantonese word for “Attitude” (態度), which represents Kay’s determination in both her music and life, celebrating with fans during good times, while also being there for each other during tough times.
Kay says: “I believe the value of music is not about who comes first or last, but about moving forward together, finding our place in the vast ocean.”
Marking Two Decades of Music
Since releasing her debut album《Kay One》in 2005, Kay has captivated audiences with her heartfelt performances. Her 2008 hit Wedding Invitation Street 《囍帖街》became a timeless classic in the Chinese music scene, earning over 28 accolades and setting a record for the most-awarded Cantonese song. This achievement solidified her status as a leading female singer of her era.
Kay has consistently pushed artistic boundaries, embracing diverse musical styles and carving a unique path, making her a distinctive icon in the Chinese pop music scene.
