HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro launching in Malaysia on 12 March 2026

HUAWEI Malaysia is set to launch the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro, bringing back the Mate Series after a three-year gap since the last release of the HUAWEI Mate 50 in 2022. Alongside it, they’re also introducing the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5, HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 in Green, and the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 Rose Gold, showcasing their latest flagship products in Malaysia.

The HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro features an advanced camera system designed for high-quality photos at every zoom level. From wide-angle shots to close-ups, it allows for smooth transitions and creative photo-taking.

At the heart of this camera is the True-to-Colour Camera System, which keeps colors true to life in different lighting situations. Whether you’re in mixed indoor light, bright backlight, or vibrant sunlight, your photos will look natural, with proper depth and contrast. It also includes tools like AI Composition for framing guidance, AI Remove, and AI Best Expression for easier photo adjustments.

Durability is a strong point of this device. With 2nd Generation Kunlun Glass and a tough vegan fiber back, the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro is designed to resist drops, splashes, and everyday wear and tear. The stylish Dual Space Ring Design enhances the look, available in Gold, Green, and Black.

Performance is backed by a powerful 5,750 mAh battery that supports 100 W wired SuperCharge and 80 W wireless SuperCharge. The SuperCool Dual Phase Change Heat Dissipation System and Huawei’s Ark Engine ensure stable performance and smooth multitasking.

Enhancing the user experience, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 offer high-quality wireless audio. They feature a Dual-Drive Acoustic System for clear sound with strong bass and crisp highs.

These earbuds also introduce the world’s first dual-driver Dual-Engine AI Noise Cancellation, which works to adapt to various surroundings, providing better sound clarity whether commuting, working, or traveling.

Additionally, the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 in Green maintains its premium features for diving and outdoor activities, while the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 now comes in a Rose Gold edition that emphasizes comfort with its “Never Feel, Never Fall” promise.

Consumers can soon purchase the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro at HUAWEI Experience Stores, the HUAWEI Official Website, the HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, the HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada, and the HUAWEI Official TikTok Shop, and receive gifts worth up to RM2,115 including the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5, HUAWEI Premium Service, One Year Huawei Care⁺, Three Years Battery Replacement, Two Years Screen Protector, and a One Year APAC Warranty.
