HONOR Malaysia has officially launches the new Magic5 Series and Magic Vs, bringing one of the best smartphone mobile photography and foldable respectively to the country.
The HONOR Magic5 Series consist of HONOR Magic5 and HONOR Magic5 Pro, where the former is an exclusive to Malaysia as the first country to be launched outside of China. The HONOR Magic5 series will be price from RM3,499. The HONOR Magic Vs is priced at RM5,999 (12+512GB) and ready to deliver a unique user foldable experience that sets it apart from other smartphones on the market.
HONOR Magic5 Pro
HONOR Magic5 Pro was recently ranked No.1 at DXOMARK for its camera capabilities thanks to the Falcon Triple Main Camera – which boasts a 50MP Wide Camera that features OIS, EIS, and a customized 1/1.12 inch large sensor to capture more light and delivering users brighter, clearer, and more vivid images with lifelike colors and details. The Millisecond Falcon Capture is a breakthrough that gives the HONOR Magic5 Pro its exceptional capturing speed and boosts image clarity, allowing users to capture complex scene in milliseconds with remarkable ease. It also offers improve on the imaging speed, with a startup speed increase of 102%, a focus speed increase of 245%, a shutter reaction increase of 147%, and an imaging speed increase of 118%.
For battery, the HONOR Magic5 Pro uses a 5100mAh battery that supports 66W Wired and 50W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge, offering longer battery life and lesser downtime when charging.
HONOR Magic5 Pro comes with the Discrete Display Chipset for outstanding performance and power efficiency. The display on the device has eye care features include an industry-first 2160Hz PWM Dimming on LTPO display, Circadian Night Display, and Dynamic Dimming. HONOR Magic Vs
Magic Vs brings a gapless foldable design and 6.45-inch external display with 21:9 aspect ratio and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. Meanwhile, the 7.9-inch internal display offers a tablet-like experience when unfolded, perfect for efficient multi-tasking and enjoying all your favorite content with ease.
The Magic Vs also has a 12.9mm thin when folded and weighing only 267g, making it slim and lightweight for a foldable smartphone. HONOR calls the hinge on its foldable as Super-light Gearless Hinge, which is uses a single-piece casting processing technology, streamlining the number of components in the hinge’s supporting structure from 92 to just 4. The hinge was tested by TÜV Rheinland and is able to withstand up to 400,000 folds, equivalent to above ten years of use based on 100 folds per day.
The device is running Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and out of the box, HONOR’s latest foldable is running MagicOS 7.1, which is designed to enhance productivity and provide users with an easy connect seamless experience across devices.
With the Magic Ring, devices connected to the same HONOR account can be controlled via cross-device, making it easy to receive and reply to messages on a laptop. All users need to do is hover their mouse to take control of the HONOR Magic Vs. The Magic Text feature with a built-in text recognition, allows users to maximize their productivity by automatically detecting numbers from images and other documents.
There is also Smart Multi-window feature, allowing multitasking with up to four applications. The APP Extender feature enables users to show two windows for an app, allowing them to run two separate tasks on the app simultaneously, providing an enhanced experience to run multiple tasks independently.
The battery on the Magic Vs is a 5000mAh battery that supports 66W Wired HONOR SuperCharge technology, perfect to last through the whole day and able to juice up quickly in just 46 minutes.

HONOR Malaysia has announced that the HONOR Magic5 Pro is priced at RM4,299 (12+512GB), HONOR Magic5 at RM3,499 (12+256GB) and HONOR Magic Vs is priced at RM5,999 (12+512GB).

HONOR Magic Moments Awards 2023 launched – prizes total worth up to USD 110,000 up for grabs!
In conjunction of the launch of dual flagship, HONOR also announced the launch of HONOR Magic Moments Awards. It is an annual event of HONOR, which establishes a global exchange platform of mobile photography contest, providing an opportunity for individuals to showcase their unique aesthetic and practical experience through smartphone shooting.
This year, HONOR has increased the prize pool to USD 110,000 and eligible winners to 75, up from 67. The submission period for the awards is from 6th April – 6th August 2023.
