Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition officially revealed; will be available for athletes in Milano Cortina 2026

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition for athletes competing in the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. Provided to nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from about 90 countries, this device supports their time in the Olympic Village and helps them capture and share moments.

This edition features the Victory Selfie, debuting at these Winter Olympics, allowing athletes to document their victories. Additionally, select athletes from National Olympic Committees (NOCs) can showcase their passions through the new Victory Profile photo series captured with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is a smart, compact device designed for easy use and daily reliability. It features Galaxy AI with a full FlexWindow, enabling a smooth mobile AI experience. Its one-handed design makes the Galaxy Z Flip7 a helpful tool for athletes during the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Key features include:

• The dual rear camera system, including 50MP Wide and 12MP Ultra-Wide lens, delivering flagship-level clarity. 
• Now Brief, which provides personalized daily updates such as reminders, calendar events and fitness summaries. It can also access health and wellness data from certain applications.
• Photo Assist, which brings studio-quality enhancements to images by moving, erasing or enlarging objects, adjusting angles, and filling in backgrounds with AI-powered capability.
• On-device Interpreter  lowers the language barrier by providing real-time translation regardless of network connection, allowing seamless communication — even in mountainous areas.

Adding to these features, the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition showcases a unique design that honors athletes at the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. It also provides helpful services to improve their experience in the Olympic Village and during competitions.

The device is covered in a special blue color that represents the Milano Cortina 2026 style and reflects Samsung’s identity along with the beautiful Italian blue. This color symbolizes unity and sportsmanship, which are central to the Olympic Games. The gold metal frame represents athletes’ quest for greatness and the brand’s commitment to excellence. It also includes a clear magnet case with a blue circular magnet surrounded by gold laurel leaves, symbolizing victory.

Each device comes with specially designed Olympic Winter Games-themed wallpaper for Milano Cortina 2026. The colorful curves symbolize winter sports, inspired by how skate blades move on ice. These design elements celebrate the Olympic spirit and the passion of every athlete.

Athletes can make memorable moments with fans, family, and teammates using the Dual Recording feature. This allows them to capture both what they see and their own reactions at the same time with the rear and front cameras. Specifically for the Olympic Edition, athletes can easily access Dual Recording mode by swiping in the Camera app. They can also find new creative angles by zooming in on the rear-camera view and preview their shots in real-time on FlexWindow.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition comes with a pre-loaded curated suite of essential apps and services to support athletes throughout Milano Cortina 2026: 

• To encourage connection among athletes during their stay, the Galaxy Athlete Card experience offers a digital means for exchanging profiles, collecting cards and participating in interactive activities, helping to foster a sense of community across disciplines and delegations.
• Athletes will also receive complimentary connectivity via a 100GB 5G eSIM, along with access to digital passes and services in Samsung Wallet, developed in collaboration with Worldwide and Local Partners to facilitate their daily needs during Milano Cortina 2026. This includes Coca-Cola Free Beverage Key, which can be used at vending machines across the Villages.
• Athlete365 offers performance and mental health support while delivering key competition information. It is integrated into Galaxy AI’s Now Brief feature, keeping athletes updated with the latest Olympic Games-related news at a glance.
• Other applications — including the official Olympic Games app, IOC Hotline and PinQuest — improve day-to-day convenience in the Olympic Village while aiding athletes’ performance on and off the field of play.   
• The pre-installed fitness application will enable athletes to track workouts and receive personalized training insights when using exercise equipment installed inside the Olympic and Paralympic Villages. 

Athletes’ journeys extend beyond competition, involving preparation and emotions around the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Samsung introduces the Victory Profile, a storytelling initiative with nine NOCs, showcasing athletes’ unique passions through curated portraits captured on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This initiative highlights moments beyond the podium, providing athletes with a personal keepsake of their journey and individuality, starting with around 490 athletes from France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, the U.K., and the U.S.

Samsung aims to enhance the Olympic and Paralympic experience for fans, using mobile innovation to connect people to the athletes’ journeys. The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition will be available in Olympic Villages from January 30th, with customer service support for activation and data transfer.
