While past winners will be strong contenders, the Decade Awards welcome nominees who have influenced the competitive scene, regardless of previous wins. The ceremony, broadcast live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will award titles of ‘of the Decade’ instead of ‘of the Year’. This edition of the Esports Awards is part of the Summer of Celebration, in partnership with the Esports World Cup (EWC), featuring memorable events and exclusive behind-the-scenes content. It will conclude with the official EWC closing ceremony, offering co-streams and content for fans.

Additionally, the Esports Awards are excited to continue the partnership with Oakley as the Official Eyewear Partner for a fourth year, bringing back popular activations like sunglasses and merchandise drops.

“2025 is set to be a monumental year with the Decade Awards, celebrating the last ten years of esports and competitive success. It’s a privilege to be partnering once again with the Esports World Cup to celebrate the most prestigious night in the Esports calendar,“ said Mike Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards, “We’re excited to showcase the Summer of Celebration and highlight the triumphs of our beloved esports community and beyond.“

This year is set to offer unforgettable experiences for the global esports community, with new highlights to be unveiled at the upcoming ceremony.

Fans will be able to vote from June 13th and can vote for their favourite finalist every day until August 11th via: www.esportsawards.com/vote
