CARiNG Pharmacy unveils 2026 Sampul Raya Collaboration Featuring Autistic Artist Danial Kushairi

CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, and Wellings Pharmacy, part of the BIG CARiNG Group, have launched their 2026 Sampul Raya collection. This collection features artwork by Malaysian autistic artist Danial Kushairi, marking his return after previously collaborating in 2024 for an e-cash voucher. The initiative is part of the pharmacies’ commitment to support neurodivergent artists and promote a more inclusive community through creativity.

This effort is part of CARiNG Pharmacy’s larger mission to celebrate neurodivergent artists and various forms of creativity. This includes their recent 2026 calendar featuring neurodivergent sibling artists Zayn and Nafeesah, as well as 2025 Raya packet designs made with autistic artist ARTJAMILA. Each collaboration reflects CARiNG’s belief that providing ongoing support can help build confidence, encourage self-expression, and foster better understanding in society.

The collection was revealed during a special berbuka puasa gathering with children from Rumah Anak Yatim Shifa in Setapak, reflecting the values of Ramadan and Raya, which focus on kindness, reflection, and togetherness. Two of Danial’s artworks – Kampung Dalam Hutan and Kampung by the Pond I – have been transformed into two unique Sampul Raya designs, allowing his creativity to be part of festive traditions for families throughout Malaysia.

Wong Siew Lai, Chief Marketing Officer of BIG CARiNG Group said, “Our collaboration with Danial reflects our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for neurodivergent artists. Following our recent calendar initiative and previous festive collaborations, this Sampul Raya continues our journey of recognising creativity as a powerful form of expression. Welcoming Danial back as a featured artist makes this collaboration especially meaningful for us. His work carries authenticity, perspective, and joy, and we are honoured to share his talent with our communities in a way that celebrates both the festive season and the importance of inclusion.”

Danial Kushairi is a Malaysian neurodivergent visual artist known for his vibrant use of colour and themes inspired by nature and cultural heritage. Diagnosed with autism, he uses art to express perspective, emotion, and imagination. His works reflect harmony and optimism, offering an uplifting interpretation of the world. Through his journey, Danial challenges perceptions and shows how creativity can serve as a bridge for understanding and inclusion.

Pn. Rohani Ahmad, mother of Danial added, “Art gives many of the neurodivergent children a voice. It’s a way for them to process feelings, find focus and share parts of themselves that words sometimes can’t capture. Collaborations like this uplift them, show their talent to the world, and affirm that their perspectives matter. We are grateful to CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, and Wellings Pharmacy for continuing to support these young artists by giving their work a space to be celebrated.”

The 2026 CARiNG Pharmacy Sampul Raya will be available at CARiNG, Georgetown and Wellings Pharmacy stores nationwide. Customers can receive the exclusive Sampul Raya with a minimum spend of RM30 in a single receipt, while stocks last.
