CARiNG, Georgetown and Wellings Pharmacies unveils 2026 Calendar featuring neurodivergent creative artwork

CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, and Wellings Pharmacy, under BIG CARiNG Group, have launched their 2026 “Colours of Care, Days of Joy” calendar, in collaboration with the START Program. This heartfelt project features original artworks by neurodivergent siblings, 13-year-old Zayn and 10-year-old Nafeesah. Unveiled at The Grey Box @ GMBB, the calendar showcases 8 original pieces, celebrating how neurodivergent children experience and express the world through vibrant illustrations.

Wong Siew Lai, Chief Marketing Officer of BIG CARiNG Group said, “Every year, we are humbled by the talent and honesty these young artists bring to their work. Zayn and Nafeesah’s stories remind us that creativity isn’t just art — it’s communication, self-expression and confidence. Supporting their journeys is something we take to heart. By featuring their work, we hope more families and communities recognise the strengths within neurodivergence, and trust that platforms like this create space for voices that are often quiet.”

Zayn, who is autistic and high-functioning with ADHD, began drawing at three. His early sketches evolved into detailed illustrations that express his structured imagination and serve as a calming tool for his busy mind.

His sister Nafeesah, living with dyslexia and ADHD, uses art to unwind, creating vibrant and whimsical scenes filled with “happy hues.” Her work reflects her belief that life should be embraced with joy.

The 2026 calendar represents the fifth initiative by three pharmacy brands to support neurodivergent young artists, following previous collaborations. This ongoing commitment aims to provide platforms for creativity, inclusion, and community connection, enhanced by the START Program. Founded in 2022 with AIMS Therapy Learning Centre, START focuses on nurturing artistic abilities in children with learning challenges, particularly those on the autism spectrum, allowing them to build confidence and express themselves visually.

Pn Rohani Ahmad, Founder and Program Director of START Program added, “Art gives many of the neurodivergent children we work with a voice. It’s a way for them to process feelings, find focus and share parts of themselves that words sometimes can’t capture. Collaborations like this uplift them, show their talent to the world, and affirm that their perspectives matter. We are grateful to CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, and Wellings Pharmacy for continuing to support these young artists by giving their work a space to be celebrated.”

Pn Wan Arnis, Zayn and Nafeesah’s mother shared her pride in seeing their work brought to life in such a meaningful way. “Both of my children enjoy drawing, and it has always been their way of expressing themselves. To see their artwork featured this way means so much to our family.”

The launch event showcased the creative process behind the 2026 “Colours of Care, Days of Joy” calendar, available at CARiNG, Georgetown, and Wellings Pharmacy stores. It’s complimentary with a minimum spend of RM180 for CARiNG Members and RM300 for non-members, while stocks last.

Additionally, the CARiNG Year-End Sale runs from 28 November to 1 January 2026, featuring Buy 1 Free 1 promotions, learning toy giveaways, free gifts, and the exclusive CARiNG 2026 Calendar giveaway starting 8 December.
