‘Venom’ sequel title revealed but to be postponed until 2021

Good news for fans who are looking forward for the 2018 Venom sequel movie which Tom Hardy starred in. Sony Pictures have finally unveiled the Venom’s sequel title on their official Twitter account. The next sequel will be called ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’.

However there is a bad news as well for the Venom sequel. It is reported that the anti-hero will not reach theaters until 25th June, 2021. The delay is partially due to the COVID-19 pandemic which causes various industry to postponed their schedule.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be directed by Andy Serkis, who is perhaps best known for his acting role as Gollum in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy. Having featured in the first installment, Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams will be back in their two leading roles, while Woody Harrelson will be joining the cast to play the character of Carnage. in this latest adventure, Venom will be forced to team up with historic enemy Spider-Man (Tom Holland) to thwart Carnage’s evil plans and save New York.
